DAILY OFFERING TO THE IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY

O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary,

I offer you my prayers, works, joys, and suffering of this day

in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world.

I offer them for all the intentions of Your Sacred Heart:

the salvation of souls, reparation for sins, the reunion of all Christians;

I offer them for the intentions of our Bishops

and of all Apostles of Prayer and in particular

for those recommended by our Holy Father this month.

AMEN.

Our devotion and praises belong to God alone. Only Him is worthy of glorification, exaltation and veneration. Prayers are to be devoted to God because all the spiritual things belong to God alone. Exalting and giving glory to a human is idolatry because those things belong to God alone.

    As a mom of 9,
    this is my favorite prayer.
It was taught to me by the Sisters at my school.

    Thank you.

  3. Cheryl DeMott says:

Thank you for this beautiful pray. I do pray it every day I need to read each word with all my heart. I have a 12yr. Grandson who will be moving down to Indianna with his Mom and StepDad. he is talking about going to his Mamw Church which is a non- traditional church because he say’s that the Catholuc church is boring and long. My question is how do I help him to see that our faith brings us closer to Jesus and why it is so important that he continues to grow in his Faith.
    Thank you.

  4. Mary says:

    Hi Sarah,

Just as Jesus loved and honored his mother in the Bible, we honor her, too. When we pray to her we are not worshiping her, but rather asking that she bring our prayers to Jesus, as he listens especially to his beloved mother.

    God bless!
    Mary

  5. Mary says:

    Hi Cheryl,

Be sure to keep him in your prayers! There is a book for young people called Blessed are the Bored in Spirit that you might like to read or pass on to him if he likes to read. You might also see if there is a youth group that his parents would be willing take him to at a local Catholic parish. It would also be a good idea to speak with your parish priest about this situation, as he should have some good insights and advice for you.

    God bless,
    Mary
